What we collect
The only personal information we hold is what you type into our forms:
- Booking and waitlist form: your name, email, phone number, preferred city, dance level, and anything you add in the note field. The form also records which page sent you (for example, "classes") and whether you booked a class or joined the waitlist.
- Newsletter form: your email address.
That's it. No accounts, no purchases through this site, no tracking profiles.
The tools that touch your data
We use a small set of services to run the site, each doing one job:
- Tally powers our forms and receives what you submit.
- Google Sheets is where form submissions are stored, so we can confirm your class and keep simple student records.
- Umami (self-hosted by us) counts page visits. It is cookieless and anonymous: no cookies, no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking. That's also why you don't see a cookie banner here; we don't need one.
- Cloudflare delivers the site and gives us the same kind of anonymous, aggregate visit counts.
We never sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything beyond running classes and sending you the updates you asked for.
How long we keep it
Form submissions land in an intake sheet. If a row isn't promoted into our student records within 12 months, it's purged. Student records are kept while you're an active part of the community.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link in it, or by replying "stop."
- Deletion: email [email protected] and ask us to delete your information. We'll do it and confirm within 30 days.
- Questions or corrections: same address. A person reads it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. We won't quietly start doing something this page says we don't do.
